Senior Stockbox Program

Are you 60 years or older? Do you live in La Crosse or Vernon County? Would you like to receive free food?

Sign up for the Senior Stockbox Program!

 

The Senior Stockbox program (also known as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program)  provides free healthy food every month to seniors 60 and older.  These boxes are available at pick-up sites across the area or delivered to home-bound individuals who are eligible! All Stockboxes include:
  • Cheese
  • Canned fruits
  • Canned vegetables
  • Juice
  • Cereal
  • Canned and dry milk
  • Peanut butter
  • Canned meat
  • Canned soup
  • Rice, instant potatoes or pasta

Who is eligible for a Stockbox?

 

Seniors age 60+ who have a household income per month (before tax deductions) that is less or equal to Stockbox income guidelines:
– $1,632 or less for a 1 person household
– $2,215 or less for a 2 person household
– $2,798 or less for a 3 person household
– add $583 for each additional person

The Hunger Task Force is administering the Senior Stockbox program currently for La Crosse and Vernon Counties.  La Crosse or Vernon County residents can apply by calling 608-793-1002  or filling out the survey below.
