Are you 60 years or older? Do you live in La Crosse County? Would you like to receive free food?

What is the Senior Stockbox Program?


The Senior Stockbox program (also known as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program)  provides free healthy food every month to seniors 60 and older. All Stockboxes include:
  • Cheese
  • Canned fruits
  • Canned vegetables
  • Juice
  • Cereal
  • Canned and dry milk
  • Peanut butter
  • Canned meat
  • Canned soup
  • Rice, instant potatoes or pasta

Who is eligible for a Stockbox?


Seniors age 60+ who have a household income per month (before tax deductions) that is less or equal to Stockbox income guidelines:
– $1,396 or less for a 1 person household
– $1,888 or less for a 1 person household
– add $492 for each additional person


How to sign up:


The Hunger Task Force is administering the Senior Stockbox program currently only for La Crosse County.  La Crosse County residents can apply by calling 608-793-1002  or filling out the survey below.
