A wet spring delayed our garden planting but we’ve caught up and things are looking great! Thank you to our partners who are assisting with educational programming on-site all summer! FoodWise-UW-Extension, Plant Partners, Grow La Crosse and more volunteers. Join the Kane Street Garden every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday afternoon. Volunteers assist with harvesting vegetables for distribution. Come to the garden on harvest days during the hours listed below, register as a volunteer, and we’ll put you to work! You’ll be able to take home some produce toward the end of the shift.

Harvest Hours:
Monday      3:00 pm – 4:30 pm-Distribution 4:30-6:00 pm.
Thursday    3:00 pm – 4:30 pm-Distribution 4:30-6:00 pm.
Saturday     10:00 am – 11:30am-Distribution  11:30am-1:00pm.

Timmers Fest was a huge success! Thanks to our sponsors and beautiful weather we had a successful event! Supporters enjoyed raffle prizes and cash drawings. Looking forward to this annual event in 2025! Special thank you to the Remainders for the music and Timmer’s for the hospitality!
